This is a hybrid position; must work 3 days per week out of the New York, NY office and can work remotely within the U.S. 2 days per week. Design, develop, and optimize high-performance Java applications supporting trade capture and post-trade workflows (matching, settlement, reconciliation). Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer science or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Java Developer or related role in the financial industry. Must also possess the following: at least 5 years of experience with financial markets; at least 5 years of experience working with real-time data pipelines; at least 5 years of experience with Core Java, concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning; and at least 2 years of experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
