Software Engineer III (Job # ID: 00093411) (Tower Research Capital LLC; New York, New York):Design, implement and manage highly scalable and efficient services on a hybrid cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes/Docker on public and private cloud. Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the build system by improving and maintaining tools like CMake, Buck2. Develop and maintain a system for dependency and release management to ensure the smooth deployment of software updates. Optimize the CI/CD system for reliability, performance, and scalability. Ensure infrastructure is resilient, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of the development team and business needs. Understand the needs of development teams and evangelize appropriate open-source and proprietary tools to push the boundaries of automation and productivity.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field, plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Skills with the following required:

• 1.     C++, Rust, Python, and Bash.
• 2.     Kubernetes and public cloud platforms like GCP.
• 3.     Git, including development workflows on Gitlab or Github.
• 4.     Experience with Linux fundamentals.
• 5.     Writing code for high frequency trading systems.
• 6.     Building tools for exchange simulators.

Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.

Salary: $194,500 to $230,000 per year
