Institutional Client Portfolio Manager – Quantitative Strategist #8814

Federated Hermes is seeking an Institutional Client Portfolio Manager with expertise in quantitative investment strategies to drive sales of our MDT product suite within our Institutional client base.  Responsibilities include providing strategic input to Federated Hermes’ product sales strategy and plans including opportunity identification, meeting sourcing and participation in introductory client meetings, making presentations to clients and prospects about Federated Hermes’ MDT investment philosophy, process, and performance over various market conditions; participating in investment strategy meetings with portfolio managers; and, serving as the primary investment contact for assigned clients.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor degree required; MBA. CFA, CFP, CPA or JD preferred.
  • 10 or more years of investment experience required; Sales and Marketing experience and/or Portfolio Management experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of products and services and the mutual fund industry required.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with quantitative investment techniques required.
  • Experience with Institutional clients required.
  • Broad based knowledge of global financial markets and key drivers of activity required.
  • Knowledge of industry standard processes and systems required.

For New York City applicants: The annual base salary range for this position is $185,000 to $300,000. In determining base salary multiple factors will be taken into consideration such as primary work location, experience, education, and skill set.
